NHDLGA Female Funding Assistance Program
In an effort to promote promote golf, in all its forms, within the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens regions NHDLGA has created guidelines for providing funding to junior female golfers. This initiative is a key initiative to encourage and grow junior female golf participation at all levels.

Newcastle Junior Golf Event
Newcastle Golf Club will again host a Junior event will be held on the 19th of January 2025. The 2024 event was a huge success, hosting 110 junior golfers from all over the state.
To be eligible players must be UNDER 18 YEARS on Sunday 19th of January 2025.
Visiting Girls and Boys can register now and until 14 January 2025 via the mitournament website (search for Newcastle Junior Classic) https://www.mitournament.com:443/tournament/register?tournamentId=202470.
Tee times are available from 10:45 to 11:45
Prizes, valued at over $1000 for 18 holes Gross and Nett . There will also be 9-hole option for cadets.
The Tournament Committee will determine the breakdown of the Boy’s and Girl’s Divisions based on numbers and & GA handicap range.
No motorised carts and caddies are not permitted.
