Recently four of our NHDLGA ladies traveled to South West Rocks to play in the “Jewel of the Coast” golf tournament. It is a 3 day event that’s been up and running for 27 years. Day 1 & 2 of the event are individual stroke/nett events in four divisions. The third day is a 2 person team event.
This year there were 120 players competing across the field. Dom Kelly (Merewether) won the 36 hole stoke event followed closely by Jenny Thompson (Newcastle) who was 1 shot behind Dom. Both ladies received a lovely pearl necklace as their prize.
